It has been a long, grueling and educational rookie season for Greg and the w20 team with The World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series. It has consisted of 90+ races over a nine month period of coast to coast traveling and it was all coming to an end with night number two of the Bad Boy Off Road World Finals at The Dirt Track at Charlotte.
With only two races left in the 2016 season, Greg and team traveled to The Dirt Track at Charlotte for the Bad Boy Off Road World Finals with The World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series for night one of the two day event.
After leaving Lakeside Speedway and with the season winding down, Greg along with The World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series headed to Salina Highbanks Speedway in Salina, Oklahoma for the O’Reilly Auto Parts Twister Showdown.
With a handful of races left in 2016 the w20 team headed west along with the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series to Lakeside Speedway just outside Kansas City for The O’Reilly Auto Parts Rumble on the River.
Before leaving Pennsylvania for the last time this year, Greg and the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series had one final stop in Posse country…the half-mile, dirt track of Port Royal Speedway.
After some well needed time back home in the shop in Findlay, Ohio the w20 loaded back up and headed east to the rescheduled Champion Racing Oil National Open at Williams Grove Speedway along with the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series to do battle in Posse country.
Mother Nature was the big winner over the last couple races forcing cancellations but that wasn’t going to be the case tonight. Greg and the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series headed to Upstate New York to the 3/8-mile, high-banked clay oval of Fulton Speedway.
Greg along with the World of Outlaws headed to Lernerville Speedway in Sarver (PA) for the Commonwealth Clash. Thousands of fans filled the stands to watch some Saturday night racing at this famed 4/10-mile oval.
Greg and team was able to return back to the shop after the lengthy west coast swing for one day before loading back up and heading to Eldora Speedway for the opening night of the Four Crown Nationals Weekend. Greg and the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series would only compete in this initial night.
Greg and team continued their journey back east, working their way back towards home. Along the way the Hercules Tire backed w20 made a stop in Hartford, Michigan for some mid-week racing with the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series at the “Wicked Fast Half-Mile” Hartford Speedway.
