After a week back home and some well needed time back in the shop the w20 team headed back east, along with The World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series to The Empire State and Fulton Speedway in Fulton, New York.

Twenty-eight cars filled the pits of this 3/8th-mile, high-banked oval. Greg put down a lap of 13.515 for eleventh quick. He would later finish fifth in his 8-lap, heat race earning a starting spot in the Main event. Greg would line up outside the seventh row in fourteenth. This Benton-Ridge, Ohio driver survived multiple restarts and was able to gain ten spots to finish inside the top five…ending his night in fourth.

“We worked hard this past week at home back in the shop,” shared the veteran driver. “We are looking forward to the rest of the season. We have been working some long hours and made some changes to our car and program. I think tonight’s finish shows we might be on to something.”
