Mother Nature was the winner Sunday night forcing the cancellation of the Empire State Challenge at Weedsport Speedway (Weedsport, NY) so the w20 and The World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series continued their travels in New York to Ransomville Speedway for ‘The Big “R” Outlaw Shootout presented by Budweiser.’
Thirty-two cars filled the pits on one very chilly night. Greg would qualify twenty-first, finish sixth in his 8-lap, heat race and gain a transfer spot into the Main event with his third place finish in the 12-lap, Last Chance Showdown. The Kistler powered machine would start deep in the field inside the twelfth row in twenty-third in the 30-lap, A-Main. Greg was able to gain four spots and finish his night in nineteenth.
“We made it to Ransomville and had hoped for a better result,” commented Greg. “The season is coming to an end and we will keep working hard to improve our program for the remaining races.”
