After ending the final 2017 Fall west coast swing, the w20 team made the long haul back home to Findlay, Ohio. After a couple of days in the race shop the team loaded back up and made the short drive over to Eldora Speedway for another night of racing with The World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series in the BeFour the Crowns Showdown.
Forty-two cars filled the pits of this legendary half-mile oval. Greg would qualify fifth in Flight B and finish third in his 8-lap, heat race earning a transfer spot into the 30-lap, A-Main. Greg would line up on the outside of row five in the tenth position for the feature. Greg would fall back several spots and finish his night in fourteenth.
“We was better earlier in the night,” shared Greg. “We made some changes, maybe a little too much and we ended up fourteenth. It was great to get back home and see a lot of familiar faces but now we load back up and head to Lernerville for some Saturday night racing.”
The Hercules Tire, DNC Hydraulics, Ohio Logistics, All Star Plumbing, Gear Alloy Wheels, Bedford Valley Petroleum, Weikel Sportswear backed w20 team returns back to action with The World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series on Saturday, September 23 to Western Pennsylvania for the Commonwealth Clash at the Lernerville Speedway in Sarver.
