Greg and The World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series made their final appearance of 2017 in The Evergreen State with a Labor Day appearance at Grays Harbor Raceway in Elma, Washington.
Greg would qualify fourteenth and finish fifth in his 8-lap, heat race. He would later line up fourteenth in the 30-lap, A-Main where he had worked his way up through field inside the top ten with his sights on a top five finish when he got bumped. He was able to keep the w20 under power but lost several spots and ended the night in fifteenth.
“We finished in fifteenth tonight,” Greg said. “But our car was a lot better than that finish. We were running in the top ten when we got KO’d and spun. We lost spots and I got back what I could…just needed some more laps. I’m proud of our team…we have been running decent. Now we move on to Oregon to continue this West coast drive.”
The Hercules Tire, DNC Hydraulics, Ohio Logistics, All Star Plumbing, Gear Alloy Wheels, Bedford Valley Petroleum, Weikel Sportswear backed w20 team returns back to action with The World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series on Wednesday, September 6 at Willamette Speedway in Lebannon, Oregon.
