Greg along with the rest of the drivers of The World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series headed back to Skagit Speedway in Alger, Washington for night number 2 of the Outlaw Energy Showdown and a shot at the $12,000 winner’s purse.
Greg would qualify tenth on the tight 3/10th mile oval. He would finish sixth in his 10-lap, heat race. With that finish the w20 would line up outside the eighth row in the sixteenth starting position for the 40-lap, A-Main. Greg was able to gain a couple of spots to finish fourteenth in a race that saw multiple cautions and one red flag.
“I’ve had a lot of fun here at Skagit this weekend,” shared Greg. “I gotta think the fans came away from here not disappointed. There was a lot of action on this tight track over the past two nights. We load back up, head south and get ready for some Labor Day racing at Grays Harbor.”
The Hercules Tire, DNC Hydraulics, Ohio Logistics, All Star Plumbing, Gear Alloy Wheels, Bedford Valley Petroleum, Weikel Sportswear backed w20 team returns back to action with The World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series on Labor Day, Monday, September 4th at Grays Harbor Raceway in Elma, Washington.
