Fifty-three cars filled the pits of this famed half-mile dirt oval. Greg went out late and qualified forty-eighth. He later finished eighth in his 10-lap, heat race and was forced to start eighth in the 10-lap, C-Main where he gained five spots to finish in fifth earning a transfer spot into the B-Main. Greg would line up deep in the field of this 12-lap race and was able to only gain five spots to finish in eighteenth putting an end to his night.

“Any time you come here you know it is going to be a tough deal,” shared Greg. “The late draw didn’t do us any favors but that is part of this deal. Some days you get a good draw and others, not so much. But when you come here you need a lot to go in your direction and tonight...it just didn’t happen. We load up and come back at it tomorrow night.”

The Hercules Tire, DNC Hydraulics, Ohio Logistics, All Star Plumbing, Gear Alloy Wheels, Bedford Valley Petroleum, Weikel Sportswear backed w20 team returns back to action on Friday, August 11 to Knoxville Raceway for the FVP Preliminary Night of the 5-hour Energy Knoxville Nationals presented by Casey’s General Stores.
