Greg and the w20 left Canada after his podium finish at Ohsweken Speedway and along with The World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series headed to Hartford Speedway in Hartford, Michigan for the Battle of Michigan.
Greg would qualify twenty-second out of a twenty-seven car field. He would finish seventh in his 8-lap, heat race and was forced to run the 12-lap LCS but a blown right rear left damage to the w20 machine early in the race and Greg was not able to return. He later took a provisional and started twenty-fifth for the 30-lap, A-Main. Greg would survive five cautions and one red flag and gain sixteen spots to earn the KSE Hard Charger to finish his night in ninth.
“After a night that did not start off well we took the provisional, started twenty-fifth and ran up to ninth,” shared Greg. “I want to thank the teams that came to help us after our little wrecker ride from the LCS. We appreciated the help.”
The Hercules Tire, DNC Hydraulics, Ohio Logistics, All Star Plumbing, Gear Alloy Wheels, Bedford Valley Petroleum, Weikel Sportswear backed w20 team returns back to action with The World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series on Saturday, July 29 for the Badger 40 at Wilmot Raceway in Wilmot, Wisconsin.
