Greg and team along with The World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series returned for night number two of the FVP Platinum Battery Showdown at Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, Wisconsin.
In preliminary action Greg would go out late and qualify thirtieth, finish seventh in his 10-lap, heat race and later earn a transfer spot into the Main event with his second place finish in the 12-lap, LCS. Greg would line up outside the eleventh row in the twenty-second and gain seven spots to finish in fifteenth in the 40-lap, A-Main.
“Not quite the finish we were hoping for,” shared Greg. “We came home fifteenth after a bit of struggling in qualifying and the heat race. We made it through the LCS, but started deep in the field. Well, we load up and head home to the Doty on Tuesday and the Kings Royal later in the week.”
The Hercules Tire, DNC Hydraulics, Ohio Logistics, All Star Plumbing, Gear Alloy Wheels, Bedford Valley Petroleum backed w20 team returns back to action with The World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series on Tuesday, July 11 for the Ohio Logistics Brad Doty Classic at Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio before heading to Eldora Speedway for the Kings Royal weekend July 13-15.
