Greg and team returned to Deer Creek Speedway along with The World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series for the rescheduled Clash at the Creek in Spring Valley, Minnesota.
In preliminary action from Thursday, June 29 before the rain forced postponing the race, Greg qualified twenty-first He later started seventh in his 10-lap, heat race and moved up two spots to finish in fifth earning a transfer into the Main event. Three laps of the scheduled 40-lap, A-Main was ran where Greg had worked his way up to tenth from his starting position of fourteenth before the postponement. Greg would ultimately move up three more spots and finish in seventh in the remaining thirty-seven laps of this rescheduled race.
“You don’t do this too often,” explained Greg. “Where you unload and run hot laps and then go directly into the Main. It was another decent night for our team with a seventh place finish. Congrats to Kraig (Kinser) and his team on a much deserved win.”
The Hercules Tire, DNC Hydraulics, Ohio Logistics, All Star Plumbing, Gear Alloy Wheels, Bedford Valley Petroleum backed w20 team returns back to action with The World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series on Friday, July 7 and Saturday, July 8 for the FVP Platinum Battery Showdown at Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, Wisconsin.
