The w20 along with The World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series left the rain delayed race at Deer Creek Speedway and trekked on to the Dakota State Fair Speedway in Huron, South Dakota.
Greg would qualify eleventh out of a twenty-two car field on this 3/8-mile dirt oval. He would finish fourth in his 8-lap heat race transferring directly to the Feature. The Kistler powered Maxim would line up in eleventh inside the sixth row in the 30-lap, A-Main. Greg would gain four spots to finish in seventh giving him his tenth top-ten finish of the season. This race fell victim to six stoppages and eventually was shortened by one lap due to poor track conditions.
“We finished seventh tonight and we were just ok, so I’m happy with finishing inside the top ten,” shared Greg. “This was truly a race of attrition. The track took on a lot of rubber and it was hard on the tires, especially on the restarts. As always, I want to thank my partners for making this all possible.”
The Hercules Tire, DNC Hydraulics, Ohio Logistics, All Star Plumbing, Gear Alloy Wheels, Bedford Valley Petroleum backed w20 team returns back to action with The World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series on Friday, July 7 for the FVP Platinum Battery Showdown at Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, Wisconsin.
