Greg and team left the famed Knoxville Raceway and headed to the “Cornhusker State” for some Tuesdaynight racing for the NAPA Auto Parts “Eagle Nation” with The World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series at Eagle Raceway in Eagle, Nebraska.
Thirty-two cars filled the pits of this high-banked, third-mile track often referred to as the “World’s Fastest Third-Mile” or “America’s Home Track.” Greg would qualify seventeenth and was forced to run the LCS with his seventh place finish in his 8-lap heat race. Greg was able to gain a transfer spot to the main event with his fourth place finish in the 12-lap LCS. He would start deep in the field in twenty-fourth and was able to move up six spots to finish eighteenth in the 30-lap, A-Main.
“Well it wasn’t a great night but a definite improvement over the last couple of weeks,” shared Greg. “Over the years I’ve found that hard work will eventually pay off and hopefully tonight was the beginning of some better things to come. I want to thank the folks from Gaver Tire and Big Red Tire that came out tonight. Those folks are a big part of what makes this all possible.”
