The w20 headed back to the shop in Findlay, Ohio after Greg’s fifth place finish in the Outlaw Showdown in Concord. After their brief stop Greg and team loaded back up and headed to Lawrenceburg Speedway in Lawrenceburg, Indiana for another night of racing with The World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series for the Memorial Day Spectacular presented by KOI Auto Parts.
Thirty five cars filled the pits in front of a packed house in Hoosier country. Greg qualified thirty-first, ran sixth in his 8-lap, heat race and later missed a transfer spot to the 35-lap, A-Main by one, finishing in sixth. With that finish Greg’s night came to an early end.
“I could have used a couple more laps in the LCS,” shared Greg. “We had a challenging night...but we were passing cars in the LCS and I thought we had a shot at the final transfer spot after coming from tenth. It just wasn’t in the cards tonight. We load up and head back to the shop before we head north to Minnesota.”
The Hercules Tire, DNC Hydraulics, Ohio Logistics, All Star Plumbing, Gear Alloy Wheels, Bedford Valley Petroleum backed w20 team returns back to action with The World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series for three-nights at the The 39th Annual AGCO Jackson Nationals at the Jackson Motorplex in Jackson, MN starting on Thursday, June 1 through Saturday, June 3.
