It was night two of racing at Fremont Speedway with the All Star Circuit of Champions and the Sixth Annual Jim Ford Classic. The team arrived the track with hopes that all of last night’s challenges were all behind. Thirty-seven cars were in the pits in hopes of making the 50-lap main event. Greg went out and ran a 12.451 for 19th quick time. The w20 started second in heat 3 and finished in the top spot with a very strong run.
Next up was the 50-lap A-Main. Greg started in the 14th position and started his move towards the front. By midway he had worked his way up to the 7th spot and was still on the move. However as fate would have it he started having some mechanical issues, however he was able to hang on and ride it out to a 12th place finish.
“This was not the finish I had hoped for”, said Greg. “Once again we had a strong car and got bit by some mechanical issues. At least we were able to finish the race which is more than I could say about last night. We load up…head back to the shop and get ready for another night of racing”.
